CTN and INITION partnered up to host a networking event to allow their clients to ‘feel the future’ and explore the world of virtual reality and other exciting technologies.

The partnership aimed to help CTN’s exclusive guests navigate their way around the VR and immersive technology landscape to explore innovative solutions to their communications needs and challenges.

The attendee list included marketing and communications directors and executives from well-known brands from the UK and worldwide including:

The event helped to bring together the expertise of two different industries to understand and share the potential VR has in the communications space. CTN were keen to show attendees their knowledge on the emerging technology industry.

There is real potential for the technology industry to work together with the communications industry. The experiential, immersive nature of technologies, such as virtual reality, taps into the subconscious and specific emotions. Similar to work in communications, technology now makes it easier than before to change perceptions and behaviour.

Together in partnership, CTN and INITION can take clients on the high tech journey that can enhance their communications.

The biggest takeaway from the event I think was that content can be elevated to a whole new level when you think about the context in which it will be consumed. When content and context are designed harmoniously it creates truly unique experiences.

Aside from being a really fun experience, the product demonstrations allowed clients to understand what others are doing, what is possible and how it might apply to their world. Most importantly, they were able to do this without feeling uncomfortable about not knowing what things were or asking questions because the INITION staff are so warm and welcoming.

Partnering with INITION has worked really well for a number of reasons but primarily because they’re great people! They’re open and flexible to new ways of working, they understand that while new technology is exciting it’s about creating unique experiences and the demo studio they have with the examples of their work is a really brilliant way of offering clients a view of what is possible.
