Working for production company Outsider, Inition provided stereoscopic expertise for a 3D music promotion for Panasonic featuring English classical soprano Sarah Brightman. The song “Shall Be Done” was shot in Epping Forest and launched on the world stage at Panasonic’s Olympic Pavilion at the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver.
“Shall Be Done” captures Panasonic’s corporate philosophy and vision. The song lyrics reflect the spirit of Panasonic’s “ideas for life” brand platform and were incorporated across all its marketing channels.
As stereographer, Inition’s Campbell Goodwille supervised the 3D elements of the one-day shoot, which utilised two pairs of RED cameras on side-by-side and mirror rigs.
As part of their Official Worldwide Olympic Partnership, Panasonic constructed twin full HD 3D theatres, housed in the Panasonic Pavilion at the LiveCity Yaletown site in David Lam Park. The theatres screened high definition, 3D video of the 2010 Opening Ceremonies, highlights footage of the 2010 Games, as well as the video of Sarah Brightman performing “Shall Be Done”.
The “Panasonic FULL HD 3D THEATRE” will be open to the public Feb 12-28.
