Pack of Teeth a special one-off 3D episode of hit series River Monsters, has been shortlisted for the 3D Award at one of the world’s leading international wildlife TV and film awards. It is one of three nominations from a competitive field of over 20 submissions. The stereoscopic episode sees extreme angler Jeremy Wade on a mission to track down and identify a terrifying river monster in the murky waters of the Okavango Delta.
River Monsters was filmed by Icon Films in Botswana with 3D camera systems, stereography and crew provided by Inition. Pack of Teeth premiered in April on 3Net in the US and played its part in making the fourth series the most successful to date.
The Wildscreen Panda Awards celebrate the very best in natural history film-making and take place on Thursday, October 18th at The Passenger Shed – Brunel’s Old Station in Bristol – and will be hosted by presenter, writer and adventurer Ben Fogle.
An impressive line-up of 59 productions have been nominated across 21 categories for the hotly-contested Panda Awards, which received a record-breaking 491 entries from 46 countries this year.
