The Role
We are looking for a Sales Manager with proven experience of managing and building a team coupled with a passion and flair for sales. He or she will take ownership of the current team, build on current processes and structure, grow it through further recruitment, and spend the balance of their time selling to their own portfolio of target customers. This will be a hands-on client facing role, winning work and providing management support to sales executives in meetings and throughout the sales cycle.
This is a varied and challenging role, which will involve:
- Meeting personal targets as well as taking responsibility for company wide sales targets.
- Managing the current sales team, conducting regular sales meetings, mentoring and coaching, setting targets and objectives and providing accountability through established KPI systems, providing support and guidance and helping individuals achieve targets and objectives. Where appropriate handling larger opportunities directly.
- Managing business-wide CRM, assigning accounts and overseeing development of those accounts.
- Overseeing supplier relationships, particularly within Technologies division.
- Managing current bid processes, embracing current in-house system, evaluating, improving and overseeing transition to identified industry standard tools.
- Overseeing quotes and proposals and preparing them for sign-off to go out to the client.
The role is both strategic and operational and will focus on driving the team to grow revenues with existing and new customers, helping the team build strategic client relationships at a senior level and directing the overall sales and direct marketing strategy. Inition are looking for a driven and enthusiastic sales person to drive technology sales for our broad range of 3D products. The role will comprise processing telephone and email sales enquiries alongside new business development and management of existing client and supplier relationships. Candidates ideally will have a good understanding of 3D technology through previous sales experience and possess the capacity to develop a deep understanding of the features, benefits and drawbacks of a wide range of products across all technology areas in a short space of time. Technologies include Motion Capture and 3D Tracking, Headmounted Displays, 3D Haptic Devices, 3D Displays and Projectors, 3D Scanners and 3D Printers, with experience in the area of motion capture and tracking particularly desirable.
A primary function of the role is to both generate and field new enquiries, understand client’s requirements, and provide independent advice and direction. The sales process typically includes client facing meetings to develop a deeper understanding and present appropriate products in our central London demo studio. Inition Asia Pacific are looking for an enthusiastic tech-savvy person to look after the day to day running of our product center. As a Hi-Tech Company, we get lots of cutting edge technology and prototypes to play with and our clients need help navigating the dizzying array of options out there.
Our products include 3D projection, 3D displays, 3D headmount displays, haptics and force feedback, motion capture, 3D scanning and 3D printing.
