The omnidirectional floor is built like a circular treadmill, making the user always coming back to the midpoint of the circle, whilst he is able to walk and run in any direction.
It is operating in various speeds, controlled by the tracking system and the controlling computer. The faster the user is walking/running, the faster the floor will take you back towards the midpoint.
The standard diameter of the floor is 6 meters, which could be bigger or smaller if needed. The floor is easy to set up and dismount.
A basic Virtual Theatre, includes the following part:
- The omnidirectional floor with the controlling computer
- VR tracking system (if you have one, that could be used)
